Reporting to the General Manager - Process, the roles involve carrying out feasibility studies and detailed design including:
- Metallurgical testwork design and execution
- Flowsheet development
- Operating cost development
- P&IDs
- Study write-ups
- Supervision of process engineers and process plant commissioning
The successful applicants will be a Metallurgist, Process Engineer, or Chemical Engineer and will possess the following expertise:
- Relevant tertiary education qualifications
- Minimum of 5 (Senior) to 15 (Principal) years of combined operations/commissioning and engineering design experience
- Previous engineering design experience in a hydrometallurgy environment will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated credentials in process engineering for studies and detailed design
- Excellent written, communication, and supervisory skills (Principal level)
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality service to clients within budget and time constraints
- Willing to travel outside Australia on short term assignments ranging up to 6 week cycles when commissioning process plants
- Experience in some of the following commodities preferred: gold, base metals, iron ore, vanadium, uranium, rare earths, and lithium
